Resolution No. 2006-24 - Passed by Consensus

Elder Program

Whereas;  Many elders at the age of 60 still maintain a active lifestyle;

Whereas;  There is an increase in numbers of Elders turning 60 years old each 
          year and are immediately enrolled into the Elders program;
          
Whereas;  The Vuntut Gwitchin Government will face a shortage of funds if we 
          continue to run the current Elder program.


		  
Therefore Be It Resolved;	

That the age be changed to 65 or based on assessment of the individual.
