Resolution No. 2009-12 - Passed by Consensus

Vuntut Gwitchin High School Program

Whereas;  The current VGFN High School Program defines high school students as being in 
		grade 10-12;

Whereas;  The Yukon Education Act defines high school students as being inclusive of those 
		students in grades 8-12;

Whereas;  The Education Support Worker in Whitehorse advocates on behalf of students in 
		grades 10-12.


Therefore Be It Resolved;	

That VGFN Education Department revises its program to include those students that are 
entering high school in a Yukon community at grade eight and that this be implemented in 
the next fiscal year.
