Staff Attendance at Public Meetings and General Assemblies

Whereas;  VGG Public meetings and General Assemblies are important to the effective functioning of the 
		Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation Government;

Whereas;  Engagement in VGG public meetings and General Assemblies provides all staff with important 
		knowledge and direction to apply to carrying out their duties and achieving their objectives;

Whereas;  The new wage parity scale is an incentive for staff to be more involved in the function of the 
		Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation Government

Whereas;  The new structure of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation Government requires that all departments 
		are aware of the developments in other departments.


Therefore Be It Resolved;	

THAT directors and managers attendance become mandatory at all General Assemblies of the 
Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation,

FURTHER THAT directors and managers attendance become mandatory at meetings pertaining to their 
respective departments;

FURTHER THAT directors and managers encourage staff attendance at all VGG and Chief and Council 
public meetings.
