Vuntut Gwitchin Organization Structure

Whereas;  The Vuntut Gwitchin Government has been in existence since 1993 as a self-governing 
		 First Nation;

Whereas;  The organizational structure has not been revised since inception as a self-government;

Whereas;  The VGG has an obligation to ensure equitable, transparent and efficient programs for citizens;

Whereas;  This includes financial accountability, as well as effective and efficient financial deliverables 
		 within established budgets and program funding criteria:


Therefore Be It Resolved;	

That the VGG Chief and Council review the current organizational structure, revise its departments to better 
streamline efficiency;

That VGG focus efforts on the Housing/GS Department to ensure programs, services, infrastructure and 
staffing stays within established mandates and on budget;

That VGG ensures its Finance Department Director position always remains within VGG Traditional 
Territory unless extenuating circumstances prevent such from happening.
