Biennial Gwich'in Cultural and Fiddle Festival

Whereas;  Fiddle music and dancing are an important part of Gwich'in culture that needs to be shared 
		and passed on to the younger generation (traditional drum and dance, fashion show, crafts) 
		(resources: recreation, health and social, grants, VGT) (important to our health and wellbeing)
		(register as non profit) recognize our musicians and artists;

Whereas;  More opportunities for celebrating and encouraging our music and dance traditions are needed


Therefore Be It Resolved;	

That the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation General Assembly pass a resolution to establish a non profit 
organization for a biennial Gwich'in fiddle festival that alternates with the years of the Biennial 
Gwich'in Gathering years.
