Resolution to Replace the Protector of VG Business Trust

Whereas;  The Vuntut Gwitchin Business Trust Deed of Settlement was executed on May 30, 2006 by 
		 the First Nation and trustees and;

Whereas;  Under the terms of Clause 52(a) of the Vuntut Business Trust Deed of Settlement, the 
		 Protector shall, from time to time, remain in office until 75% of the members in attendance
		 at General Assembly vote to remove that Protector and designate a replacement, except 
		 that this clause shall not apply until after the tenth anniversary of the settlement 
		 of this Trust and;

Whereas;  the tenth anniversary of the settlement of this Trust was May 30, 2016 and 75% of the 
		 members in attendance at General Assembly wish to remove Brian MacDonald as Protector 
		 and designate Vuntut Gwitchin General Assembly as the Interim Protector.


Therefore Be It Resolved;	

That effective November 26, 2016 Brian MacDonald be removed from his duties as Protector of the 
Vuntut Gwitchin Business Trust.

That Brian McDonald be replaced by the Genereal Assembly, until such time that 75% of the 
General Assembly desginates a replacement Protector.
