Social Assistance


Whereas;  There are many people who receive Social Assistance.

Whereas;  There are not many employment opportunities in Old Crow.

Whereas;  When employment opportunities arise, S.A. beneficiaries may not apply.

Whereas;  We want to see our people having a valuable role in the community, working, living off a 
		 decent salary and thriving.

Therefore Be It Resolved;
1.	That Social Assistance eligibility criteria should include taking available training opportunities 
and seeking employment.
