Forum - Caribou

Whereas;  The VGFN continues to take the lead on the protection of the PCH 
          calving grounds in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska and 
          will continue to do so until the calving grounds are protected.

          
Therefore Be It Resolved;

The VGG organize and find funding sources to conduct a PCH forum in Old Crow 
with all willing responsible authorities and user groups;

The forum be focused on developing strategies short and long term to protect the 
calving groups in Alaska;

The time is right to develop and plan and strategize with all responsible 
authorities to accomplish the protection of calving grounds;

That the PCH forum be held in June 2007.
