Oil and Gas Exploration

Whereas;  Oil and gas development is a sensitive issue for the Vuntut Gwitchin that has
                lasting implications;

Whereas;  Thorough and balanced communication with the community and community input are 
                necessary parts to the decision making process;

Whereas;  The community requires more opportunity for feed back and information on this
                issue before it proceeds.


Therefore Be It Resolved;	

That more information and communication between the community, development reps and 
environmental reps is exchanged;

That a cost-benefit analysis on development be made available to the community;

In the case development moves forward that regular development and ecological monitory 
reports are issued to the community.
